Coke Lover? Maybe. Skank-Bag? Definitely. Thief? No Way!

Contrary to what you might have heard, Lindsay Lohan prefers to buy her own clothes (and when we say "buy," we mean "haul off bags of free swag from celebrity gift suites"). The Los Angeles County District Attorney has rejected a grand theft felony investigation against the actress.

Last month, a woman filed a police report claiming more than $5,000 US worth of her belongings went missing after she went out of town and her house-sitter invited La-Lohan over to her apartment.

According to the D.A.'s case-rejection notice, "witnesses saw suspect Lohan give her driver ... a clear bag with some clothing to take to the car," and the house-sitter admitted to giving Lohan some outfits, reports the Associated Press.

But the district attorney's office said it had insufficient evidence to file charges against the party whore/occasional actress after the plaid shirt Lohan was wearing did not match photos of the plaid shirt the alleged victim claims was stolen.

"The bottom line is that Lohan can't be shown to have been seen either taking or to have been later in possession of missing items and items she can be shown to have possessed were with [the house-sitter's] permission," Deputy District Attorney Greg Somes wrote in the rejection notice, reports AP.
