Happy Labor Day weekend! Shown here is a close-up of the lovely allium, a prolific bloomer at this time of year. I love massed white flowers, and this one's perfect for a bank of white - particularly appealing in the early morning and early evening.I hope all of you are safe this weekend, as the hurricane moves up the East Coast. While its winds appear to be diminishing, it could strengthen, stall - who knows what. I hope all of you are out of harm's way.
I'm not sure what's on my weekend agenda, beyond relaxing. At some point, I'm sure I'll go to a beauty department. You couldn't keep me away! What I really need to do - stay home and tidy up - seems boring as I write this.
