Dr. Nicholas Perricone, creator of my favorite Cold Plasma, is launching a new line targeted at the 25-35 set. Super skin care will be available at Sephora in October, with prices ranging from $20 to $50. Perricone will also open three Super stores in California this year.
Thirteen products will make up the Super line. He developed it using molecules from his favorite "superfoods," a term he uses for ingredients with high nutritional value that also benefit the skin. A hand and cuticle cream features the probiotics found in yogurt, which are intended to stimulate collagen synthesis for smooth, soft, and healthy skin. Other products count acai berry, melon, chili peppers, watercress, and dark chocolate among their ingredients.
This line isn't intended for me. Dr. Perricone has already taken care of my age group. I love the idea that he's introducing products that will encourage the younger set take good care of their skin - at an affordable price. I think his timing is great, since interest in skin care seems to be at an all-time high. The younger the better!
