This weekend, I'm headed for my undergraduate college reunion. So is Lexi (you saw her get her Armani makeover last week), but she went to Georgetown University. There's a significant age difference between us, but even Lexi is already thinking about what she's going to wear and how she's going to look. She went to get her tan "evened out" at a spray tan salon last night. No funny tan lines for Lexi! I've done nothing to prepare - yet.Why are college reunions so stressful? Aren't they supposed to be all about fun and reconnecting? Instead, I am obsessing about what to wear and how I'll look compared to my fellow graduates (one had a face lift and looks like she never left college - darn good surgeon). One thing I know for sure. My look will be a bit more classic than my now-embarrassing senior class photo in which I was wearing bell bottoms! Quite the thing at the time. Now they look like a silly relic.
Any advice? Have you been to a reunion lately?
